Tea is a natural product that is as popular today as it ever was and will continue to be. Be it green tea or black tea, scented, herbal, mixed with spices or just pure and simple: Enjoying a good cup of it is as important as it is enjoyable. The caffeine it contains, however, can lead to discomfort, even heart-circulatory problems—and this precludes a good segment of the population from the pleasures and benefits of tea consumption.



The extraction process with supercritical CO2 enables the extraction of caffeine down to a residual content of less than 0.4%—without reducing the valuable antioxidants (polyphenols) or affecting aroma.
